Sudden Impact

Sudden Impact Strength & Conditioning Program

Sudden Impact’s off-season strength and conditioning program focus on helping student-athletes increase their speed and reach their physical potential through customized strength and conditioning training plans and coaching.

The Sudden Impact Strength and Conditioning Program has two primary goals.

  • First, to improve athletic performance, specifically addressing athletes’ mobility, stability, strength, endurance, power, speed, agility, and overall performance.
  • Secondly, our goal is to reduce athletic injuries. Our customized weight-lifting plans strengthen body parts that are injury prone in various sports. 

Our program consists of a weekly running and weight-lifting schedule. We establish ambitious yet achievable individual goals for each athlete. Adherence to the plan and the program’s core elements will provide the foundation for a championship season.

  1. Speed/Technique Development

Speed and quickness are two essential qualities in an athlete’s success. However, stride frequency and length determine the time it takes to get from point A to point B. Our program is designed to improve stride length through enhanced flexibility and strength. 

  1. Weight Training

Our safe and effective strength training program is designed to deliver peak strength and power. Strength training provides multiple benefits for athletes of all levels. It can help to improve coordination and support the muscles, resulting in fewer injuries. Other benefits of strength training for sports performance include:

  • Enhanced coordination
  • Improved body composition
  • Enhanced joint function
  • Decreased risk of injuries
Our coaches will set customized performance goals for each athlete, and once athletes demonstrate competency and consistency at a performance level, they will graduate to the next level. At Sudden Impact, we have a successful track record of supporting student-athletes to increase their speed, power, and athletic abilities.
